THE ROLE

We’re looking for an innately curious and passionate AI Data Engineer to join our Dev Team. This role will be involved with the design and development of the data infrastructure that powers our enterprise AI agent ecosystems. You’ll be at the intersection of cutting-edge AI technology and real-world business applications, creating scalable data solutions that enable human-quality AI interactions for thousands of users daily.


This is a unique opportunity to shape the data architecture of a rapidly scaling AI platform while working on projects that truly have an impact on the world.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Pipeline Ownership:

Own the complete data flow: interactions → AI processing → CRM → Competitive Insights.
Design conversation capture systems handling voice, SMS, WhatsApp at enterprise scale.
Build multi-tenant analytics that isolate dealership data while enabling comparative insights.
Design and maintain robust data pipelines to support AI model training, dashboards, inference, integrations, etc.


AI/ML Data Support

Work with AI Engineers to build high-quality datasets for AI model training.
Participate in red teaming exercises to ensure consistent AI ecosystem performance.
Support data versioning and reproducibility for our AI ecosystem
PostgreSQL extensions and AI embeddings.
Real-time data streaming, event processing, WebSocket/real-time communication protocols.
Webhook processing and API gateway design.


Enterprise Integration

Design secure, multi-tenant data connectors for CRM, ERP, and other enterprise systems
Build real-time analytics pipelines to power client dashboards.
Ensure data security measures meet SOC2-Type2 standards.


Infrastructure & Optimization

Manage CI/CD pipelines for data workflows and infrastructure as code.
Monitor and optimize data pipeline performance for cost efficiency and speed.
Implement comprehensive data quality validation and monitoring systems.
Collaborate with engineering team on system architecture and scalability planning.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Technical Skills:

3+ years experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related fields
Expert-level Python programming and advanced querying skills.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP preferred)
Production experience with big data technologies
Database expertise with both SQL and NoSQL systems
API development and integration experience
Version control proficiency


Industry Experience (Preferred):

Building data pipelines and integrations into CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) and their APIs
Understanding of conversation AI and voice processing pipelines
Experience with telecommunications APIs


Soft Skills:

Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills
Growth-oriented with appetite for learning emerging technologies
Systematic thinking with attention to detail and process-driven approach
Adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced startup environment
Problem-solving mindset with customer-focused approach


Preferred Qualifications

Startup experience in high-growth technology companies
Bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish) preferred
Background in enterprise B2B software or AI/ML applications
Experience with data privacy compliance standards (GDPR, CCPA, SOC2-Type2)
